Much like your kitchen at home, our café is at the heart of Black Swan Arts. Its a place to meet with friends or family, for lunch or coffee and a cake, to have an informal meeting or a glass of wine. All profits are put back into Black Swan Arts, which is a charity operating without funding and almost entirely by volunteers and trustees.

We have one of the largest outdoor spaces for any café or pub in Frome. Our beautiful flowerbeds are also home to edible ingredients, herbs which are used within our dishes, making that strong connection between garden and kitchen.

Our menu always contains vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Let us know if you want to know the ingredients and allergens in any of our dishes.

Exhibition in the Café

Infrared macro photography by Dan Hopkins
1 November – 31 December

A selection of botanical photographic prints from Dan Hopkins.

Infrared offers a different, often hidden view of our world. Where the expected colours and contrasts differ from the norm. Coupled with the macro view, these images show a sense of wonder that great detail can create even in common British flowers.

The images are created using a converted digital camera and processed using split toning to emphasise the highlights and bring out the details. They have been printed on Hahnemühle Fine Art photographic print paper and framed in sustainable oak frames.

Further editions are available unframed. For details contact Dan Hopkins by email
